Telecommunications Companies have NO AMNESTY for their Illegal Spying The Full House & Senate Judiciary Committee Pass Bills with No Amnesty for Massive Warrantless Domestic Surveillance done by telecommunications companies when they helped to spy on millions of ordinary Americans. Along with this ruling, changes will be made to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA). Hopefully this will stick, and allow victims to proceed with their lawsuits in federal court because the phone company violated the law and the privacy of citizens, especially its own customers. This bill is to establish a commission that will investigate the causes of terrorist acts committed by persons raised or living in the UnitedStates. (2) RADICALIZATION- The term `radicalization' means the process of adopting or promoting an extremist belief system for the purpose of facilitating ideologically-based violence to advance political, religious, or social change. (3) IDEOLOGICALLY-BASED VIOLENCE- The term `ideologically-based violence' means the use, planned use, or threatened use of force or violence by a group or individual to promote the group or individual's political, religious, or social beliefs. This bill later go on to read: Any measure taken to prevent ideologically-based violence and homegrown terrorism in the United States should not violate the constitutional or civil rights and civilliberties of United States citizens and lawful permanent residents. In addition, certain governments, including the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia have significant experience with homegrown terrorism.
